Sustainable Development Goals (SDG'S)
To protect our planet and safeguard the wellbeing of people all over the world, the United Nations have drawn up seventeen Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for the year 2030. These SDGs were formulated by the member states of the United Nations (UN), including the Netherlands. The Sustainable Development Goals are used as a global guideline to overcome challenges such as poverty, education and the climate crisis.
At Broekhof, we believe focus leads to better results. That is why we, as an organisation, focus on the SDGs we can have a direct impact on. The following four SDGs form the foundation of our sustainability strategy RESPECT:
SDG : 8
We contribute to sustainable economic growth by actively promoting fair and good working conditions.
We focus on sustainable production and consumption. We do this by making our product range demonstrably more sustainable together with our partners. Furthermore, we strive to always offer our clients the best and most complete advice.
We reduce our organisation's environmental impact by basing our decision-making process on scientifically substantiated facts and by developing circular packaging and packaging systems.
We maximise the impact of our sustainability efforts by forming partnerships with like-minded organisations.
